My work has taken me from frontline crisis response to statewide suicide prevention efforts to building my own counseling practice. That range of experience helps me bring both a big-picture perspective and practical, hands-on support to the people I work with.

Professional Experience

Community Mental Health - Tropical Texas Behavioral Health (Edinburg, TX)
- MCOT Clinician: Provided crisis intervention for individuals experiencing acute mental health emergencies in the community.
- Zero Suicide Coordinator: Coordinated with 8 Local Mental Health Authorities (LMHAs) across Texas to deploy suicide prevention programs and deliver training for staff and providers.
Court & Community Work
- Partnered with probation departments and court systems to provide structured anger management and rehabilitation services.
Founder, New Leaf Professional Counseling Services (2012–Present )
- Began with court-mandated anger management programs.
- Expanded to professional counseling/therapy for individuals and couples.
  - Supporting clients with anger, relationship struggles, self-esteem challenges, and personal growth goals.
